The GloCal Knowledge Pot integrated, interinstitutional, intersectoral, inclusive and interconnected approach has a long history of successful collaboration with global to local agriculture sectors.
Some of the region’s most successful sustainable agriculture, food security, climate change and disaster crisis mitigation initiatives have come from this collaboration. It has included significant collaboration with the EU-ACP Centre for Technical Cooperation in Agriculture (EU-ACP CTA) and partners in the region as the InterAmerican Institute for Cooperation in Agricultur (IICA) e and the Caribbean Agriculture Research & Development Institute (CARDI).
Innovative strategy and policy development, inspiring budgetary and meaningful global to local partnerships for all ages from preschool to policy makers.
Dr Kris Rampersad adds unique flair to multistakeholder engagement bringing indepth knolwedge of conventional, traditional and new media environment.
Among projects and camapigns initiated for supporting food security and agriculture, blending conventional media engagement and novel training and retooling agriculture executives and stakeholders in utilising new media.

Co-oordinated the Caribbean delegation’s participation in the International Seminar on Media and Agriculture
Spokesperson & Panellist at the Global Brussels Dialogue on Media, Agricultrue & Food Security;
Developed the successful format for engagement of multisectoral partners and stakeholders for interactive knowledge sharing through conventional, traditional and new media forms. This was successfully utilised at the Caribbean Week of Agriculture & the EU-ACP International Seminar on Media & Agriculture in Brussels, Belgium.
Coordinated & Designed the First AgriJournalism Awards
Trained and retooled executives and stakeholders of the InterAmerican and Caribbean agriculture sector for the new multimedia digital age.
Developed internet and new media protocols for CARDI.
Redesigned and Resusitated CARDI website, publications as its newsletter, journal, and academic publications and productions.
Established te CARDI Film Unit.
Research, Wrote, Directed & Produced a short film on challegnes facing Media and Agriculture for global seminar.
Research and wrote documentary film on Health &b Environment for Pan American Health Organisation/World Health Organisation
