Global reach local impact Gender and Culture Sensitive Environment and Social Governance Transformation initiatives Sustainable Development Media Culture Career synergies
The need to redefine, reshape, reset and redirect focus on pertinent elements of the thrust for gender equality in tech and beyond remains an ongoing challenge.
Strategies for corporate outreach and public relations and social media engagement is mistakenly believe to address this need, but they are very different from outreach and advocacy for transformation and change.
Craft Environment and Social Governance strategies and programmes for transformation rather than show.
These tools, techniques dram from my experience and knowledge as a journalist, outreach strategist, educator and facilitator and knowledge from working across global communities for advancing equal access to opportunities for underserved communities.
Advancing the Gender Agenda
As a Woman Techmakers’ Ambassador, Google Digital Skills Ambassador and WorldPulse (Gender Network) Digital Ambassador I envision moving the gender agenda forward with creative initiatives and partnerships.
I am also focused on bringing to closer alignment formal and non formal sectors of education, culture, gender and media to drive socialisation and change with new tools, techniques, materials and models that take into account the unique diversity of Latin America and the Caribbean, small island states and the developing world
All Issues Are Women Issues
I am developing novel pathways to progress and advancement for women, particularly in underserved marginalised and developing communities and societies.
As an educator, producer, publisher, journalist with broad and deep experience in agenda setting, policy and legislative reform and developing programmes and actions for change, my focus is on bridging developmental gaps between and among the sustainable development outlooks goals and other international to local level instruments to broaden opportunities and access for equality across the board.
I am also keenly focused on more closely aligning traditional and conventional modes of education, culture, and media with culture and gender sensitive tools, techniques, models, methods and materials for more effective as socialisation for change and transformation into the post pandemic planet.
