The Network on NGOs is celebrating and congratulating the women recipients of this year’s national awards and particularly its members-Hazel Brown, Diana Mahabir-Wyatt, Brenda Gopeesingh, Margaret Sampson-Browne and Zalayhar Hassanali (who received the nation’s highest award, the Order of Trinidad and Tobago).
The Network of NGOs is hosting a celebratory tea tomorrow, between the hours of 3 pm and 6.30 pm, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Trinidad, Wrightson Road, Port-of-Spain.
Contribution for this event is $150, and part proceeds go to a survivor of domestic violence. The Network of NGOs celebrates the recognition and acknowledgement of its members on the national stage and the value now placed to women’s contribution to national development.
