The road to recovery for the lifelong learning and the education sector and the opportunities for formal, nonformal and informal education for lifelong learning were core focus
TAKE THE LEAD: Current and Upcoming Caribbean-based professionals, companies, projects & Initiatives is track of my talk.
I pose the question, Pardon the Interruption! Who’s Minding/Mining Creative Educational Content into the Post Pandemic Planet in the framework of Education and InterCultural Understanding into the Post Pandemic Planet. It includes the challenges and opportunities of developing transformation-driven culture and gender sensitive campaigns, initiatives and multimedia interactive creative frameworks, models, modules and materials materials in the context of global dominance of technology giants.
I share experiences as the first sitting journalist in the Caribbean to complete a PhD and bridge transition to Communications for Developments. I present insights into broadening the space for cultural recognition across SIDS, LAC and developing regions, including working with Caribbean communities and international stakeholders to strengthen respect for Caribbean knowledge and know how. I map the challenges and scrutinise and assess the gains made and shortfalls in preparing the formal and nonformal corporate, NGO, Media, academic public and private sectors transition from conventional media into the digital age. It is based on the Summit focus. #ProgressNotPerfection, and what progress means in our Caribbean context and in the STEAM space.
