What a beautiful way to spend a birthday, receiving greetings from around the world and musical renditions from many cultures and language. Sharing with you to spread and multiply the joy. Thank you all for the exceptional outpouring of wishes and wisdom for my birthday and taking the time from your many preoccupations to spend a moment with me. We might not be able to celebrate birthdays and special occasions with friends and family, but we could still share our moments virtually. I was particularly touched by the range of musical greetings I received with renditions of Happy Birthday wishes in the songs and music of other cultures and other lands.
